That was probably the owner from the sounds of the previous poster stating he knows the owner in real life. I've been on 3 separate occasions and the guy was there in his office each time. I have had this issue at Ocean Spa and decided not to return there. And like you, although I can't speak the language, I do understand it. I have confronted a few providers when they gave me BS to my face and then spoke in Mandarin not realizing I understood most of what they said. I don't mind the extra long hair so long as their hygiene is good.
