From the cities I've lived in and travelled to, this is so true. Some places, Eros has been an "avoid" site for 10-15 years. More fakes / scams than legit.

But as mentioned, any site out there these days need to be handled like Eros: do the research. Looks for reviews, mentions on other sites, see if the pictures and or phone number is being used all over the country.
