Well, I'd still hold Courtney responsible. I seriously doubt Courtney would leave her phone unprotected without a passcode. Courtney still must of either be lying, or she gave her sister the passcode to open the phone up. If it was the later then Courtney is held responsible for any misconduct that takes place.
