Taking a shot this gets posted quickly and someone sees it. I'm potentially meeting her in a little bit for a drink. We were supposed to have lunch earlier and she cancelled at the last minute saying she got pulled into a work emergency but she could meet later this afternoon and would make it up to me. She just texted and asked if I'd be up for doing more today if we clicked. Anyone recognize her? I don't think she's a pro (as-in advertises on one of the sites). When she cancelled earlier she said she was pulled into a work emergency and that she "really needs the money" so she needs to take care of it. Hmmm.

What do you guys use for talking to these SB prospects, offline from the Seeking website? Obviously, it's not great to be divulging much personal info on the site and especially when you start talking about $ per meet and what you are looking for in return for that financial help. And obviously, it's not great to use your regular phone number for this, especially if it's tied to your name.

I have used TextNow a good bit, but of course the messages are not encrypted and could be possibly traced back to you, especially if you don't use a VPN (which I always do).

You can use a burner phone, but regular SMS is still not secure. I suppose could use Signal on a burner phone, but then your number is still out there and requires and additional phone and monthly fee for minutes, although could just use it for a month and then wifi mode after that, with Signal. But still involves toting around an additional phone. And many girls don't want to give out their numbers either and they aren't going to mess with a burner.

Something like Snapchat, or Kik or Whatsapp doesn't require your phone number to be divulged, but those aren't totally secure either.

I have used Wire app before, and it is good, but apparently does save some metadata. Right now I'm trying Keybase and it is open source, does not require phone number, and is end to end encrypted. Of course no one else seems to use it, but I don't have a problem telling a girl she has to install if she wants to talk to me. If they won't take the time to install a good app that protects their privacy, as well as mine, then maybe not someone I need to talk to. However, I don't like to see so many fall through the cracks because of this too.

I am probably being overly cautious and paranoid here, but I'm convinced that's the way to go at this point. But I'm curious about your thoughts and what you use for off-site messaging.

I use kik, snapchat, & a gmail burner number. This is good for about 99% stealth when contacting SB's & keeping my private life private.

On SA I have my personal info & pay with a normal CC so if a subpoena was issued my info would be available. I don't have a significant other so there is really no fallout from for me regarding this unless it's a paternity test.

Fast forward to this weekend and she messaged saying that she'll settle for $ and come to me but when I reminded her of how I felt about her attitude back then she went silent on me. Claims she just wrecked her car and needs to hustle up on deductible money so I'll say she's very vulnerable right now.

So I had the time today and I lit into her / his ass telling them that every other profile is doing the same thing but your approach has been the weakest game that I've seen so far LOL. Thought this was interesting, it's off of reddit and somebody took the time to actively chart the amount of SD to SB ratio.
