Wait, 80% of what requires a deposit? If "escorts", you must be including scammers in that figure. I've only been asked for a deposit once ever, and it was an established pro with a big online presence. Other than that, never. I've seen a few legit ads who were asking, but not many.

To each his own I guess. The only I way I would use a credit card was if it was prepaid and it was a small amount that I would not be upset if I lost. Other than that I doubt I would give me up my credit card information to a girl. I would feel more comfortable giving Lacey my ATM card and PIN and trust she would only take a small amount of money and while I am going there I am sure I could trust Andy with my house keys and when I got home I bet everything would be there.
