Sorry for my ignorance on this abbreviation. I do not know what GPS is or what it stands for. Does it stand for Golden Pussy Syndrome? Where a woman wants a man to buy her a bunch of expensive shit and or pay rent for the reward of sex? Maybe some of the other guys would beg to differ, but I would avoid Buckhead too much GPS / luxury lifestyle types there from my experience and traffic is hell.

So Midtown is better between the two IMO, downtown would be even better as you could pull easier from GA ST and other small colleges there.

Both are what you are looking for. Midtown is much newer developed, it's trendy & attracting a younger post college crowd, Business & IT are big in this area. Buckhead is where the rich live ITP, much more upscale and you don't even to walk, most upscale places in Buckhead have valet pairing. I would personally pick Buckhead over Midtown.
