Booked two hours and unfortunately lost half my donation.

Funny, I don't recall ever having an experience where I used a provider for reference and she didn't remember me. In some cases it was years later. Ok, once or twice I had to send her an email to remind her, and I think I once sent a picture to remind her, but most of the time they've remembered me. I usually go in for multi-hour because there's a discount for that. Usually I only go for providers who are confirmed BBFSCIP by other mongers who have seen them or who have confirmed themselves that they're willing to provide that.

In this situation I couldn't find out from either, since I was dealing with Nicole her agent, and since there was no one who could confirm that she didn't do it.

I had explicitly asked the agent if there was anything that she didn't do. Usually, when you ask providers this question, that's enough for them to say off the bat whether or not covers are required. Especially if you've already mentioned your testing papers, which I did.

In any event, from now on I will make sure to be VERY clear in my communications prior to booking if there's even the slightest lack of clarity.

I think if you have seen 2-3 providers and have them remember you and co-sign for you. You should be good.

Thanks for the info. I tried to find through her agent Nicole. I mentioned having recent testing papers and asked if April had any rules or requirements or anything that she doesn't do and the only response I got was "as long as you're respectful that what she cares the most". I seriously don't know what to make of it. I went through her ridiculously heavy screening process and booked the appointment and she's definitely my type but I don't want to go in there only to find out that she doesn't do BBFS CIP at least. I've only ever had one "misunderstanding" like that and I consider myself lucky that the provider returned my donation in full to me with no troubles.

I'd prefer not to have to face a potential situation like that.
