I don't think this was criticism, just explaining why many, including myself, don't share rates any more. I throw a price out there, someone else posts they paid less, I'm pissed at the provider. I throw a price out there, some moron contacts her, she quotes higher and instead of negotiating on his own I get thrown under the bus and he tells her "This guy told me he only paid "xxx". Now the provider is pissed at me. Not even worth getting into rates, someone always fucks it up.

This is why most do not discuss specific costs associated with providers. Each guy probably gets a different rate based on their negotiation skills. Keeping such information as general as possible, or just a ballpark will keep such sillyness to a minimum.
