Just a post to heartily agree with you and to expand on the topic of exploitation:

Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that there are varying degrees of "management" spanning the spectrum from beneficial to controlling. Even in the best case managed scenario, a provider who gives any portion of her income to a manager will either have to charge more or, if she keeps her prices at a competitive level, will have to accept a lower level of income. In a worst case scenario she'll be under such control of the manager that it can only be honestly described as an exploitative or trafficking situation.

In view of the above it's certainly better, IMHO, for hobbyists to focus their time, energy and money on independent and well-reviewed providers. One exception (again, IMHO) might be agency girls where the agency has a decent and professional reputation and where the agency's primary role is to provide better marketing and security than the girls could manage on their own. Another exception might be managed providers where, because of their history of reviews and positive intel, it's pretty clear they're in control of their own situation and are not being exploited.

Because it's a free market, hobbyists can see anyone they want. But one of the great benefits of this forum is that it allows the sharing of information such that members can make better decisions and channel their hard-earned cash in a better direction. The more the market favors independent and well-managed providers, the more beneficial it is for everyone.

Seriously? You draw a line between "management" and an agency? Do you think that the K-Agencies are simply providing better marketing and security and controlling their own situation? Absolutely not. Your logic on the managed scenario and income is also wrong. If a provider is truly being managed or exploited, it doesn't matter how competitive her rates are, she won't be keeping any of it for her "income" as you wrote.

There are a few different types of Thai ladies working in the area.

Strictly legit: Nina, angel massage, sasi. Nothing but a good massage for most customers.

The honest ones: KK, Tara, Patty, Cristine, Nalee. Who offer varying levels of option. Are honest and are not trying to rip you off. They care if you will return.

Let's not get too harsh about what you call "The bad" Thai ladies. I would say I find it difficult to know who is being controlled by a pimp or syndicate with these Thai ladies. One group I know for a fact is friends of certain folks you've mentioned, who operate at least three condos from where Thai ladies pay "rent" to operate out of. If you rent space are you controlled by a pimp or is it a brothel? I don't believe that there is a hard upsell, at least from the Thai Condo Group (let's call it TCG), although if you haven't visited that group of condos before, you may feel that way when they go through their prices, which tend to be high. It's interesting that Korean Stephanie with all the tattoos operates out of the condos with this Thai group. I was a bit surprised when I saw Stephanie in a Thai condo I had visited Thai laides, then saw her again at another Thai condo.

Supply and demand always rules the market. It's just that sometimes those forces tilt in favor of the hobbyist and sometimes they go in the opposite direction. And of course local conditions vary across the country and the globe. But I don't happen to share the opinion that NOVA necessarily sucks. There are plenty of good values but it may require a bit more homework and patience to find them. Looking at various BP city sites, 60/70/80 is pretty standard for an AMP house fee. Maybe some lower cost areas (in the US) will have a few more in the $50 range, but that doesn't seem to be the norm.

As far as any provider with attitude, I wouldn't pay anything at all. But for an AMP girl who gives a decent massage and NOVA finish, 60/70/80 + 40 tip is not unreasonable. But knowing the market may be soft gives hobbyists a bit more leverage than they might otherwise have. Of course, it all depends on which providers are experiencing slow business and which are not. And that's where the homework and patience come in.

I travel just about every state and do not remember. 4 or. 5 except somewhere out west. But they get you on the flip because they ask for. 8 for the equivalent of the standard nova. Rent must be cheaper in that place or the provider subsidizes what the house gets.

I know a few guys that I have met along the way (that may not necessarily post on forums) that used to spend four or five-benjis a month going to the different places around the DMV. As service declined, they have stopped. As a matter or fact, I journeyed with a couple guys to Philly a month or two ago and we checked out a few places there. A few guys came out and joined me in Vegas for a week, and sampled other parts around the US. NOVA sucks right now and for a while providers had us over a berrel because guys would pay no matter what. Was it Swan or ATMB that had a. 7 or. 8 entry at one point? And there would be mongers there all the time. Now, meh. When I am back in DC I head up to Maryland and PA. I know that I won't get much from Nova so I won't pay even. 6 for a standard nova and little roaming + attitude.

Trying to understand women, in general, is an exercise in frustration and providers even more so. They do what they do for various reasons and each has her own internal standards and motivations. Consider, for example, how many providers (even FS) will do almost everything except kiss. You could ask the same sorts of questions you're asking, but what's the point? They're not going to change or, if they do, it'll be for reasons only she knows and often can't or won't verbalize.

As with most things, it's a YMMV kind of world. Some non-FS providers will politely decline while others will take offense because you've somehow crossed a line which she thinks you should have respected. The fact that only she really knows where that line is, and you don't have a clue, really doesn't matter (in her mind). And sometimes it's just a matter of whether you catch her on a good or bad day. It's pretty much like when your SO gets upset at something and you have no idea why. Asking "What did I do?" doesn't change anything and doesn't fix the problem.

In fact, this is why so many hobbyists visit providers rather than put up with this kind of drama in their own lives on an ongoing basis. When a provider gives you grief you can simply pull the plug, shut it down and move on. IMHO, it's better not to try to push the envelope with bodyrub providers and stick to escorts for FS. There are plenty of fish out there to choose from.

I have started to do just that "pull the plug. " I used to have many regulars that I spent tons of cash with hoping that after the 5th, 10th, 100th, visit I would finally get the holy grail. Then, there are some providers that have offered without any muss any fuss. It's a complete toss up. I love my rub girls, but lately you're right I should just seek the FS girls. I don't know. I've had too much time to think about this over the last 60 days (I work for myself now and when I am not with my own clients I am thinking about being some backpage girl's client). I should always remember: My Miles Will Vary! If I could post that somewhere in my daily planner I would probably be frustrated a whole lot less. My experience with Nicole wasn't good, but others have enjoyed better sessions so she is definitely a YMMV provider. When I clicked on the ad, I noticed she not only uses the name Nicole, though misspelled, but also Lily. I wonder what's going on.
