Unfortunately not. To see where this kind of thing ends up, research the story behind allofmp3, the Russian site that was selling music online to the USA at Russian prices 10-15 years ago.

What they were doing was deemed legal in Russia because of the way music is licensed there, but because it was a problem for the music industry here, they found a way to effectively shut them down.

It started with blocking credit cards and any other form of banking available to North America, and slowly progressed to the point where the service still "sort of" exists to a handful of grandfathered underground users, but the overall experience, and the hassles and hoops you had to jump through just to get a simple transaction through was more than most people would be willing to tolerate.

The problem is that once it is deemed to be a conduit to "illegal" activity, it's going to be a lot worse than what happened to allofmp3 for SD sites, because as I said they were deemed to be operating legally (just not to the subjective liking of US legislature). SD sites will not be able to play that card if there is a lot of evidence on the table of people making direct offers for money for sex transactions via mail and text, thus will suffer a much worse fate than music sharing sites.

I don't know a thing about Bitcoin, but is it possible that all this CC harassment will move it more into the mainstream?

I predict that SD sites will follow the same fate as long as people keep making monetary offerings to girls via e-mail and text.

The BP girls will simply migrate to the SB scene (those who are able at least), junking up the supply and attracting more attention. It's a shame because some of us operate fully within the law.

Lots of discussion about young pots and sbs. Here is my two cents.

I agree that most of the young ones don't have a clue and they are immature. Often, if you ask them what they want, it will devolve into something they think is better than a night at a house party. Many of them don't come from backgrounds of means. If you take them out to an upscale five star restaurant, they won't know which fork to use. This is where I tend to take control. It is, or at least I have found, this is also where they want you to take control. They want someone to take them out, show them how to properly order a glass or bottle of wine. They don't want you to make fun of them for not using the salad fork correctly, but rather want someone who is willing to take the lead to show them things that their college boyfriend, who is too busy playing video games, cannot. If the pot has no interest in experiences like this, and only wants the cash, or only wants to party, I know what to expect and know that it won't last very long. I tend to lose interest in these kinds of girls quickly.

If you ask a 19 year old what she wants, then I suspect you're going to be disappointed with the answer. In my humble opinion, most 19 year olds don't know enough to know what they want. So I take on the responsibility of showing them.
