My $. 02. When I'm traveling (often) its pretty obvious that the hotel is the place to be. However, locally is a different issue.

I do not have the same luck as HWG. My proposals for car dates are generally met with the reaction that I am either too cheap to spring for a room or that the girl is offended. I have had limited success when I make it clear that a car date allows me to be more generous with a sbs allowance. Normally though the added expense isn't worth it though because the difference in savings is cancelled out by the loss of getting one night closer to a free reward night. BTW HWG, I would like to thank you for giving me not only pointers but motivation to ramp up my game. Your posts are probably more valuable to the brothers here than you realize. With the end of March comes the report. It's been a quiet a month with other real life events taking precedent and the need to keep the SO off my scent. As previously mentioned, I had been working two pots to try to add them into the rotation. More details on that later, but long story short, things are not going as planned.
