If American women are after our money foreign women view us as a way to immigrate to the US. Once they get here they may decide to stay with you if you have money or go with a guy who has more. The foreign spouse has to be married only for 2 years after which their Green Card (Permanent Residency) becomes permanent at least they will be subservient to you for those 2 years.

But then again with Obama letting anyone who wishes to sneak into the country and get all the benefits (tax refunds!) we are now probably less appealing to foreign women.

Yes, there is truth in what you said about they view us as a way to immigrate to the US. There is (but has been fading in recent years) that belief that everyone is rich here and good. As we know for from the truth, but the prospects they have (I'm thinking Chinese women) are slim in good paying career, and a man that will respect them. They have a hard time finding both. There are some gold diggers, but the ratio is smaller. Their values of family and marriage are much different than our women. Chinese women tend to be very loyal to the man they love. Loyal beyond what guys here have ever experienced. Now that China is an economic power they are not stumbling over themselves to come here. The economy is strong there. With the power of the internet they are learning that our country is not so great anymore.

I will add one more thing to what you were saying about "watching out". The women have learned that they will be pampered here and put up on a pedestal that our system has created. All in all the number of quality women, value wise, is way more than what we have here. That is why I tell any young guy hell bent on getting married to marry an Asian woman. The odds are better in finding good, grounded, and loyal women. Liken it to going back in this country to the 50's and 60's. That is how our women used to be. Yes, and what caused the unusual imbalance of men is because of their culture of over valuing having sons in stead of females. Sons hold a higher status symbol for the family. That thought process has been slowly changing over the recent years. With their one child policy (not true in the countryside) they would just abort if it was a female. So many years of that and you have what you see today. An imbalance of men over women.

I know that this is a numbers game. Send out many messages to get a few responses and even fewer POTs. The problem I'm coming to is I've run the course on my desired demographic in my area. I'll admit that my search is really narrow. I unfortunately am only attracted to white, thin-average ladies. I wish my tastes were more broad, but I've sampled the others and I'm just not interested. If I was going for Hollywood's demographic in my area I'd be golden, but that's not in the cards.

Anyway, I have been limiting my search on SA to Minimal, Practical and Negotiable in the Expectations category. My thinking has been that all the rest above that would have GPS. I was wondering if my brothers on here limit their Expectation search? If not, what has your success rate been with the Moderate, High and Substantial ladies in accepting your offers. I'm thinking of broadening my search into those areas, but don't want to waste my time.
