Welcome! I am sure the other members of this board can provide more, but here is my 2 cents:

In my few weeks in the bowl, I use certain sites like hotels.com and priceline to keep hotel costs down. At first my sbs seem to have needed nicer places to get them to the FC, but once they are comfotable and understand that I am more generous with them if they are willing to spend our private time at a lower end place, they quickly become ok with rooms at the lower end places. Plus when you establish trust tat an sb won't flake, you can use the "name your own price" feature on priceline for extra savings. Thank you Capt kirk! Hotels. Com gives you a night free for every ten nights booked.

Also because I take out the cost of the hotel from the sbs per date allowance, they often quickly find ways to send the kids to grandmas or find date times when their roomate is not in the dorm. More for them and less for me: the depending on how much I like an sb, she will get all of what I saved or I might split the difference.

Coffee is overrated, but a great way to tell if the sb posted pics that were from 20 lbs and 10 years ago. I prefer not standing up a girl (since I have no idea if she is communicating with other girls who might also be on the sites I am on, and if so, would hate to develop a reputation that might prevent me from meeting someone that I do want to add to my rotation). There have been two occassions where I skipped the coffee and went straight to a light meal with a pot at her request, and when I saw them, wanted to keep walking. Instead I ended up taking them out and wasting money that could have been better spent on a hotel.

I have found that my sweet spot is meeting for drinks at a bar for happy hour. If I click with a girl, there are cheap drinks early on and its easy to suggest going from drinks to a meal. The problem here is if your sb pot is 18-20. That is why I like sticking with coffee, even though its overrated.

As others have posted, best to be direct up front (at least in the dc MD VA area where I tend to frequent). It eliminates a lot of free meals and drinks. I'd rather not get to date five without ever having visited the FC. If that's what I was looking for, I'd be on match.com or eharmony or whatever. While some profiles list that the girl doesn't want to be propositioned like that, I've found that it helps weed out the field. Besides if they were looking for a different kind of relationship, they should be on match, or eharmony or whatever.

I have not, nor will I ever bring a sb home. I know more seasoned veterans like hwg have the ability to pull this off. For me, I have had too many experiences where a jilted past girlfriend end up showing up randomly at my doorstep at the most inappropriate time. Besides my SO probably wouldn't approve.

POF will not allow me to give them my email address in the message. So I sent the first cute girl my cel #.

Their filters are lame. I tried to send her my email address, but got an error message saying you cant do that.

So I broke it up as "name at out look dot com" and it went through. Ridiculous.

Their email filter expires after a week or so. Or maybe it's after you send a certain number of messages? I'm not sure, but it's in place to combat spam and it will be lifted soon if you stay on the site. Are you doing this for sugar dating or "normal" dating?

Long time lurker of this website, 1st time poster. I stumbled upon this thread the other day and am hooked. Hooked because my initial experience with a SB occurred while I was on a date with someone I'd met on a conventional dating website, and we met her male friend up who was meeting one of his SBs. I was fascinated. So much so that the SB hated me because I couldn't stop staring and giggling. Little did my then-quasi-conventional girlfriend know, I singed up to SA the next day to browse. Due to my age I was restricted to a menu of Granny type women. I'm not ready to die yet so I canceled. HG you are on another level so you may find a way to circumvent the age issue.

At the higher ages they seem to have a 14 year spread. So at 60 I can date 46 year olds.

But their algorithm is as follows at the lower ages. Your age/2 + 7 years.

So now I am 25.

25/2 = 12.5 + 7 = 19.5.

But I guess they fudge it slightly because I can now message the 18 year olds.

And lots of them are obviously looking for SD's right in their profile. Some are obvious pros. I hear you can get kicked out if they catch you so I am gonna try to do this low key and see what happens.

HWG, I took the liberty of "borrowing" some of your points a couple of months ago as I agree with them. I didn't put it in my postings however I do use it in the intro letter. It has weeded out some pros, but landed a very good 29 yo UTR spinner (my ATF, and probably be the death of me), and 2 nice SB's (21 yo spinner that is flawless but needs some training, and a 29 yo MILF spinner). I always start every girl out at $ a date. I know that's not a lot but its inevitable that if you stay with someone long enough its going to creep up. It usually creeps up to $1.2 very quickly. My average for all of 2014 came to $.5 per date (which includes the cash, all motel stays, dinners, gifts, etc.). And I averaged 23 dates a month this year. Once a girl becomes more like a GF. Meaning I have had at least 50 dates, the extras are going to kick in. I mean if you are seeing someone for months and they have an unexpected problem, it's going to be your problem if you don't fix it. If you don"t want that, then just keep finding new girls. I usually have one or maybe two ATF's.

I had to breakup with my last ATF due to too many problems and not enough ROI. I don't always have the prettiest girls but they all have rockin bodies. Most girls that would rate themselves (face / body) as a 9/7 are going to cost more than a girl that's a 7/9. But for me personally I need a hot body more than a pretty face. I think one of the biggest factors is frequency. If you are only dating 4 to 8 times a month you can raise the bar (or at least I would). Get a prettier girl, spend $$ plus dinner and a gift.
