At the risk of being a little off subject. Did you ever notice the marketing plan for Thailand?

Country used to be called Siam then changed it's name to Thighland.

Capitol? Bangcock ah errr Bangkok.

Most southern city. Phukett (last time I looked PH was pronounced F)

Next thing yah know the connector between BangKok and Phukett will be renamed The Hershey Highway. Yah got to luv those Thai marketing guys.

Had good nights dancing with the Thai girls there. Especially Nam's friends! But that story will one day end up in "Bedtime Stories" :P.

The ho's may be Thai, Lao, or local. Clientele at these bars are generally Lao dudes (not as many Thai dudes in Hawaii; most of the hos hook up with white guys to get here, then promptly leave them for Lao guys) and old white dudes. Old white dudes are the types who lost their tilac a few years ago and are seeking the past, LVB style.

Hehe, very well put. If the patrons are the same crowd from Tondo Tondo, then beware. That was a rough crowd, plus it had a cabaret license so it stayed open till 4 am.

Mimi is Nam's nom de ho. But like all Thais, Nam is a nickname. She did work at Blue Ocean in early / mid 2000's. Her new bar is the old Tondo Tondo (Remedy or some such most recently) , located above Cheers Station.

Have yet to check it out, but I suspect it will have the same clientele as BO, LS, Cindy's, and Kathy's.

Heard from a reliable source that Mimi of the old Ginger's will take over as mama in the bar above Cheers. Not sure when, but it is definite. She has a sugar daddy, of course, so play is probably out of the question. I'll check it out and report.

Was at Cheers the other night and the bar above was already open. The owners name is Nan as I saw her in the parking lot introducing herself to some guys. Unless she changed her name. I don't know what Mimi looks like but this was a short older lady.

Hey, guys who recently bought drinks for the girls at Sala Thai (Nu'uanu St.). Are you guys being charged $10 or $20 a drink for the girls? Just wondering, since I've recently gone there, bought a few drinks that cost me $20 each.

However, I heard someone at the bar offering the girl $10, but didn't say anything at that time. She looked a little apprehensive when he mentioned that? Did not want to embarrass her at that time if that was true, but will confront her the next time if so. Thanks brothers.

I just got back from a holiday in Pattaya Beach. What a fun place. The ladies were hot as hell and ready to play. Beer was cheap and the hotels were awesome. I never saw the posting here about Thai Bars till today. Anyone recommend any good places to visit on Oahu?
