Can dayuse be used for short night stay or is their anything similar? Also which hotels do mobile check in as in you don't have to go to reception for key you can just go straight to room and unlock from phone.

As was stated, easy to reserve. They keep track of your favorite places.

One thing to note is, while you do not need a credit card to reserve, almost all hotels will want one at check in, to cover incidental charges. It makes it easier if the name on the CC is the same as the one on the reservation.

So if your name is John Doe, I would set up your Dayuse account as John D.

I have always used a company card to check-in in just in case something get charged. I pay cash when I check in and I have never had anything show up to my CC. But they do hold some money for a few days. (This is for Courtyard Marriot).

I have been able to get rooms for 5-6 hours at about 120 including tax. These are really nice rooms.

I have also used them for hotels in midtown and was always happy. No fleabag rooms. Nice, upscale and inexpensive.
Is there something similar for late night last minute bookings? Like if I want to book something at midnight or 1 am for a few hours?

If you are specifically looking for a day rate then DayUse seems to have a few advantages.

    * Hotwire does not specify check in and check out times on the website.

    * It also defaults to check out the next day. That would normally mean afternoon check in and morning check out.

    * DayUse has a very nice cancellation policy. Same day is fine, no penalty.

    * No credit card needed to reserve. Cash on arrival is fine. (ID is required).

    * Hotwire does not allow you to search for a same day check in / check out.

These observations are based on a rather quick perusal of the Hotwire web site. I apologize if I missed something.

    Meatpacking

The Liberty Inn on 14th and 11th is pretty legit. Clean in there, for what it is! $60 for 3hrs, which is more than enough. Real close to a lot of bars and restaurants in meatpacking.

I stayed at Herald Hotel which is located on 31st street between 5th and 6th ave.

It is $60 for a three-hour stay. But call and book in advance. The hotel gets fully booked right away (especially on Friday and the weekends).

    Village short stay

Newbie to the forum and really to the knowledge of a community like this. Guess I've been a monger for years just never knew the name for it LOL. Great spot I've used many times St Marks hotel in the village last I remember it was 60 for 2 hrs. Convenient location the clerk checks I'd to make sure everyones of age though and theres a signin rule which I usually drop some bogus info on. Definitely will be posting some of my past explotits and trynna find some awesome providers that I've lost touch with.

    Short Stay Hotels

    145th Between Broadway and Amsterdam.

I can personally vouch for the short stay hotel there. There are actually 2 hotels right next to each other. One with a green facade and one with a blue facade.

I took my favorite UTR to the one with the blue facade today.

$55 for 2 hours. Small room with a bathroom. We were really surprised how clean the hotel and rooms were. There were fresh sheets on the bed, fresh towels and new unopened soap bars. The bathroom was clean too! We couldn't beleive it.

Had a great session with great girl in a good clean affordable room. The bed squeeked a little, but I kinda like that.

    I recommend for outcall sessions.

The Liberty Inn on 14th and 11th is still kickin from what I hear too.
