So I'm thinking it's going to be an uneventful Friday afternoon when I get a call from an old Puerto Rican friend, Raven, who dances at Henry the 8th – South. I'm sure the strip clubbers know her. Well her latest boyfriend, who she put in the hospital needing stitches, is moving back south for the winter. She needed to get her belongings from his place and needed a ride to Henry's for work. As it turned out I took her straight to Henry's and on the way we talked about the drama going on in her life. It was a simple uneventful ride to work.

Afterwards, since it's close to where I was headed, I decided to drive through the Fort Street stroll just to see who might be out. I wasn't really interested in picking anyone up, just wanted to see who might be out and see if LE was lurking around. Besides, I had other things scheduled for the afternoon and this was to be just a short break before starting on those tasks.

So I navigate down Fort and the side streets making my circuit and there is no one out. I decide to make the round a second time and again no one is out. As so many of us know, you make one pass and no one is out but on your second pass through they often seem to come out of the woodwork. You might see two or three or more suddenly appear out of nowhere. Well I decide to make one more round thinking maybe I'll see little Monica or Danielle or TT or perhaps Shanna or Penny taking a walk in the cold, and then I'll head out continuing on with my uneventful Friday afternoon.

Third time around, again, there is no one out. So as I start to head out down Fort to leave the area I do happen to pass one girl who is walking. It's my Cherokee angel, Rachel. Slender, Native American 5'-9" 129 lbs, who walks with gravitas. I spent months driving past her when I had other things to do before finally hooking up with her last week, but now, all of a sudden, I find I'm having an argument with myself. She walks up to my vehicle and I ask her what she's doing, "Oh nothing really, just taking a walk. " Next thing I know the words, "want to hang out" fly out of my mouth. It was as if I had no control whatsoever. "Okay", she says.

We get to our destination and spend the next 45 minutes or so just talking, getting something to eat, playing with my phone and simply enjoying each other's company. She gets up, stands next to the heat vent, and next thing I know, off come her pants. Okay. Looks like this isn't going to be an uneventful afternoon after all.

We get our clothes off and she drops to her knees and starts with a BBBJ. And I'm thinking about how I was ready to pass on this!
