Unless there is another thin HSW, the thin HSW may be Rachel. She's been out quite often lately and usually walks alone.

There's very good and specific information on being careful in the forums, and there really isn't a best time to cruise to avoid LE. I've seen them out at all hours. A couple of weeks ago driving down Fort I spotted a SW I know and have been wanting to meet up with again. She was walking in the Waterman St. Area. I've been wanting to meet up with her but didn't have the time but wanted to verify her latest digits. I circled around the service drive and pulled out on a side street, pulled up to the corner, and waited for her to approach my vehicle. She wanted us to get together right then. I felt bad but I told her I didn't have the time. So she left and I headed out. One block down the street I passed LE parked on the opposite side of Fort facing our direction. WOW! That was close! He wasn't there when I first circled around.

So I suspect LE, if they're looking to bust someone, is looking for the right situation. They look for the right situation, park and watch for one of us to make an obvious slip up, especially if it is on the main road. Rachel has been out a lot and since she usually walks alone it's real easy for LE to park and simply watch what happens. I hardly ever pick anyone up or drop anyone off on the main street whether it's Fort, Vernor or the Ave. If I make the right eye contact I'll circle down the back streets. The girls watch to see if you turn off the main road and they'll double back and start walking down a side street to meet you. I personally prefer to park a couple blocks away and meet the girl on foot and walk back to my vehicle with her or if she comes up to my vehicle I'll suggests a spot where I feel comfortable letting them in. When dropping them off, I often get out of the vehicle with them and walk with them for a minute or two, or walk into a store with them. It's a lot less suspicious than just dropping them off.

Always proceed with caution, a little paranoia and alertness.
