Hi guys. As promised to some of the regulars who helped me out before my trip, I am reporting on my experiences visiting the are on a Tues night in early Oct. It was part of a 3 wk trip from Chicago-Houston and back. Alas I was only there for one night and all the motels I earmarked before my arrival were either terrible looking or even condemned! I ended up opting for one of the major chains real far south in Southgate. I drove onto town from Dearborn in the mid afternoon and decided to pass through Vernor Hwy. Nothing seen at this time.

Didn't hit the strolls properly till early evening. Decided to stick to just the 3 strolls mentioned above as the others would be too far. Fort St was much more desolate a stroll than I ever imagined but in some ways it was perfect IMHO. The weather was overcast and it did spit at times but no major rain.
