Back in January I was driving in the are area on one of those bitterly cold days and came across two womanwalking against the wind near 7 mle. Kind of forgot about this forum for a bit. About time to get back into the roll of things.
Had to make a trip out to the airport early this morning, so I took a little time to myself to try my luck. I posted up and as you guys put it here, took some time to RTFF and reviewed over mongering for newbies. Some good info for the brain. I have never done an actual stroll of the triangle, in the past when ever I went out I just stuck on 8 BTW Jr and Woodward for the most part. Only ever successfully picked up one WSW that was right on 8 and jr. That was quite some time ago and though. I reviewed a map of the triangle and hit telegraph to start. It was early in the morning, starting at about 6:30-7. I ended up making two complete trips but didn't see much of anything but a two or three BSW. Nothing that really seemed worth it. WSW are more my taste, but if a good BSW opportunity came by I probably would probably partake.
Wouldn't call my trip a complete bust though, I'll just consider it my first real recon on the the stroll. By my second round it was getting light enough out to start familiarizing myself with the route. LEO activity seemed to be nonexistent until it reached closer to 8-9. Still few and far between.
