Drove on John R street today. I was surprised! Several prostitutes out there working.

Across the street from Centerfold. She was black and a spinner with hair to her shoulders (25 to 30 years old) , on my way back from driving she was talking on a cellphone while keeping her eyes on the road looking for someone to pick her up.

Around State Fair street. She was white but really old, at least 50 years old, she stood there and then started walking back and forth.

Around Nevada street. At first this black chick was walking with a black guy, then the black guy left her and then she proceeded to walk back and forth, she was young but a little bit on the heavy side.

I also saw two police cars roaming around (there were not even undercover). I did not see them pull anyone over.

I have a question for you all. Not to sound racist, but if I am white, is my chances of getting pulled over by the cops less than if I was black in Detroit?

Rolled through a couple of the areas mentioned in this forum that I had not checked out before. Harper was empty for miles between midnight and 1. Don't know what that's about.

They can pull you over on any pretext (you didn't signal a turn or lane change, you were "weaving," it looked like your mirror or brake light wasn't right) , question you and ticket you for any of the phantom moving violations, in which case it's your word against theirs and you're in a high-SW neighborhood far from where you live. Think a judge will give you a break? At least, that's the fear LEO is trying to plant in your head.

I try to be careful what time I'm in these places. Not too busy is best.

Even knew of girls who would live in notels along Telegraph between Plymouth and Joy- but this was over 5 years ago.

On the other hand, I don't think you see them out often because this is Redford Township- not Detroit. Redford cops tend be pricks- off topic, but Redford has the reputation for being a speed trap ESPECIALLY along Telegraph. Also, it is close to residential areas.
