I was leaving a local strip club last Sunday night (8-26-18). I thought I would cruise down John are just to check out the scene. I didn't see much activity other than the trannys down by 6. At the last minute I made the mistake of turning down that street on the left before 6. I normally goto the gas station on the corner then make the left. It was a nice warm night thought I would do some site seeing. I drive down whatever that street is and see one person, but its too dark to get a good look, I keep going without stopping. Just as I pull out onto 6 I get pulled over. The first thing they ask is why I turned down that street. I told them to by pass the traffic light. They tell me they hear all types of excuses and that the only reason to be on that street is drugs or girls. I stick to my story while they search my car. At this point I am standing outside assuming I am going to get the breathalyzer at any moment. I didn't have a lot to drink, but. 08 isn't that hard to reach. I am calm and respectful as they ask question after question. I was alone in the car and don't do drugs, but I was worried they would give me the breathalyzer in an attempt to make an arrest. After searching and not finding anything they insist that I tell them why I was on that street. They suggest that if I just tell them I could have been on my way home by now. I am standing trying to decide if he's trying to entrap me, but the longer I stand there the more chance they might breath test me. I decided to roll the dice and tell them I was checking out the girl scene. One officer says that wasn't so hard was it. They let me go. It was so nice to wakeup in my bed that morning because things could have not worked out so nicely. I guess I have been scare straight, no more picking SW for me. And I am giving myself a 1 drink limit when I drive. Anyway, just wanted to share my experience and warn you guys HP is pulling over cars just for driving down that street.

When I met up with Katie she denied knowing her but at that time Cat may have not been dating yet. For those who don't know Lincoln Park LEO is like Dearborn LEO on Michigan Ave crossing the city limits into Detroit. They keep an eye on the party store on the Lincoln Park side of Outer Drive and watch for people crossing from Detroit into Lincoln Park with candy or somebody doing a scoop and turning onto Outer Drive to pull you over.

They even lied and said I turned down one street when it was another. The court got me for 550 to just throw it out. Which I paid cause I don't want to be down town again. I'm not heading out with the pigs. But also I'm black so they had to get me for money I don't have. Kind of their thing. Just glad I wasnt shot. : l.

I am coming to Detroit again in October. Was wondering if there is a good hotel I can stay the night at near Michigan ave that I can bring company to? Thanks for all the intel you provide here. You guys are awesome!
So I have tried the ave and Chalmers both on Friday (10 pm to 1 am) and Saturday (2 am to 3 am) and not a soul. Why all of a sudden so dry?

What was going on with the Ave Tuesday night? LEO everywhere in unmarked, seen pulled up on SWs and cars pulled over. Dbn LEO sitting in the parking lot at Venus, another in the car pool lot by the entrance to 94. Seen Heather out, but wasn't scooping with all that.
Ashley with the pretty eyes is back on the ave after a few years off. She's a big girl for now, amazing how she was away from it and clean all these years and now she's back at it.
Scooped her up a few nights ago near junction for the usual BBBJWCIM and swallow routine from her, .25 was the damage.
Had a double header, after dropping off Jamie, I ran into Amber. She's one of the best at BBBJWCIM so I couldn't resist! Made the scoop and she drained what was left out of me and I went home and slept like a baby!

Had chances to take some night rides over the holiday weekend, all after 9:30 or 10 pm.
Friday night, Chalmers / Harper / Gratiot. Absolutely zilch, not even after an hour or so. Not a one to be seen.
Saturday night, Triangle. Some activity there lately, but not this time.
Sunday night, Fort. Zilch. Triangle, zilch. No help that it was pouring rain! I don't do the Ave or the Are as a rule, for various reasons.
Monday night, Fort again. This time a few out near Junction. Circled around to scoop long dark hair in denim miniskirt but aborted the mission after seeing the same car a few times (prob just another monger, but you never know). Headed over to W. Warren, at Brace a spinner type in short shorts with great legs beckoned to me. CIrcled around the block and picked her up. Amber. Started w. 20 for CBJ, after a good while she said, "how 'about I just jump on it right now. " I agreed, ponied up another. 20 for the FS upgrade. Got a really great reverse ride, grinding and bouncing. Got digits. Would repeat.
Fort is crawling with some cute some not so cute.
Saw Amanda at the sonoco. 40 for FS. BBBJ was good. Young looking. Great time. Highly recommend. Have digits.

I don't know the laws in Michigan as I'm from Illinois and visit when have delivery to make.

Any advice on the next step for me.[/QUOTE]First get your vehicle back because the impound storage fees add up pretty quick there's no good way of getting out of the towing fees and the storage charge and the fine associated with the impounding of your vehicle. I had it happen years ago, and the SW had small quantity of drugs on her and threw them under my seat because the officer pulled me out of the vehicle first and left her sit there while questioning me, and got an attorney for the tickets and he got it dismissed with no record of it ever occurring, so to have an attorney will cost you a few dollars but it's worth it in the long run. No other way they could know what was said, if this is your first time, you'll pay about 1100 total to get your car back and when you go to court, it'll be at minimum 300 -500 in fines. Most times they'll reduce the charge to something lesser. They only want your money.
