I happened to be in San Diego in the latter part of November on business and on my last night in town I wound up with a two choices, and my decision process was influenced by two difficulties regarding my schedule: a dinner with a colleague had ran a bit long, and I had to catch a mid-morning flight to my namesake city the very next day. I wound up back at my hotel downtown at around 9 pm and I my choices, given the relatively late hour, were: (1) make the two-hour drive (one way!) to visit King Henry in Los Angeles to experience the ebony beauties I had read about on in the LA forums; (2) drive ten minutes up the street to visit Les Girls, located at 3790 Riley Street in San Diego.

My big head took over and won the day: the close proximity of Les Girls was a great advantage and would permit me to get adequate sleep for the following day's travel. I reckoned I could pay King Henry a visit on another trip. I did realize it would be a mainly low-mileage experience, but I also felt duty bound to TOFTT and provide you all with a fresh report.

I arrived at about 10 pm on a Monday night; the neighborhood was decent and there was adequate parking onsite. There was a $10 cover payable at the box office in the lobby and a handstamp allows for in / out privileges. If desired, a discount card is provided for future visits. (I declined the card since I was out of town.) No alcohol is served, but there are vending machines in the lobby. The stage / show area is to the left of the booth and is about 40'x50'. The men's bathroom is in desperate need of renovation, but at least there was soap and paper towels. There were rows of chairs with some tables among them, and private booths with curtains adorned the back of the room. Songs were played by a DJ and were uncut; during my time at Les Girls there were about 5-6 customers.

I watched the entire rotation of girls and their stage shows, which consisted of three songs each with increasingly less clothing from song to song: by the third song tops and bottoms were off. The following dancers were working: Athena. Greek or perhaps Italian, 5'-5" or so, long brown curly hair; Honey. Tall Latina (about 5'-9") who put on a very athletic show; $unshine and Babydoll, both white, and another girl whose name I can't recall unknown, but she was thick / BBW.

I was immediately drawn to Athena and Honey; my preference is for ebony dancers of any build, but I'm an equal opportunity guy and so figured I should sample whoever was available that night. I sat close to the stage when Athena and Honey were up; an odd custom: guys put tips on the stage, which the girl collects at the end of their set--there was no sitting at the tip rail for further interaction or touching. I eventually figured out that the girls do not roam the seating area interacting with patrons and looking for dances--one has to go to the box office in the lobby and tell the attendant which girl you want and what type of dances you want: rate is 3 for $25 in one of the booths and 3 for $30 in one of the two back rooms.

I desperately wanted to dance with Honey, but when she got off the stage and went to the lobby area, a patron who seemed really interested in her got up and went back to the lobby as well. I then didn't see Honey for a while, so I settled on Athena: I let the attendant know my desires and they called me over their PA system when Athena was ready and a room was available (so about a 10 minute wait). The private rooms are in an area / corridor behind the box office. Following Athena back, I saw that the room has a bed, but that's not where you sit: you get the chair. Since one cannot hear the house system from the back room, girls play their own songs on their own phone, or use the available CD player if they don't have their phone on them.

Athena said she would do topless for a $40 tip (so my payout was $70 total); nothing else was offered. This is somewhat comparable to costs back at home (note that Chicago strip clubs are not all that great either). The dances were decent--no extras to be had. The room was intimately lit, and I was unsure if cameras were present. I then found that Honey was indeed available afterwards. I wish I had held out for her: I really enjoyed being with Honey: she's sweet and has a cool attitude and was more open to boob play. I tipped her the same amount and shortly afterwards bid everyone goodbye and went back to my hotel.

All in all it was an okay night; certainly going to Les Girls beat sitting in my hotel room doing nothing. On my flight home I still wondered if I should've made that LA side trip, but I think I'll have to save King Henry for another time.

I'm sort of a light / social drinker, and I usually stick with non-alcoholic drinks when I'm hitting strip clubs, but I may pay Modern Times a daytime visit the next time I'm in town.

Went to Cheetahs a few nights ago for a friend's birthday. I suggested that we check out TJ (as you guys suggested to me before) but it didn't work out. This was a Thursday evening. Cheetahs usually is pretty filled with girls Thursday-Saturday from my experience, and this Thursday was no different.

I met Gigi, a young 19/20 year old who was a pleasure. I think she was partly hispanic and part native american. Tall, skinny with a nice ass, all natural. We talked for a bit and then she asked me to go to the back room to have some private dances. Went with the. 2/ song section, the lowest of the 3 'tiers' they offer. She was pretty great. She let me do a bunch to her (fingering, boob play (she went basically topless and let me do what I wanted with them), making out, etc). It was very fun.

She ended up trying to overcharge me (we were there for 6 songs but she was trying to insist it was 1. 8 total). I called her on her BS, she took the 1. 2 and left. It was a fun time but it left a sour taste in my mouth. Not sure if I should let the bouncers know she's trying to scam anyone, not like it'll really do anything.

Anyways, it was a moderately damaging night but sometimes I prefer the social and risque aspect of being at a strip club I guess.

I have been to cheetahs about 5 times now over the past couple months. It's fun, definitely very expensive on the bang-for-buck scale, but once in a while the ease of access (I live pretty close by) and availability, it's a fun time.

Well since I'm bored today I'll posted another review of North Counties one and only strip club option. For those who are not local- Purple Church is the nickname for what is officially called The Main Attraction in Oceanside near the harbor but the outside of the building has a purple overhang so ya thus the nickname. Anyway, this place is topless w / full bar. $12 to get in, top shelf cocktails are about $11 and lap dances are $20/ song. Overall its a very low mileage club as there is no private area really, the lap dance area is one room off to the side with different comfy couch type seats. Some ladies will allow slight roaming (most do not) and put their titties in your face while grinding your crotch but that's about it. Its all good though- I enjoy watching the dances while having a few whiskeys and then getting a few lapdances.

I went last week and two of the highlights were Christina an absolutely gorgeous women from Brazil and another tiny little blonde spinner who is the best pole dancer I have ever seen. Both of them had every one in the club in trance practically. Christina was just perfect in my opinion and very nice to chat with also- got a dance from her and it was pretty nice. The blonde spinner (forgot her name) is there a lot but this is the first time I've seen her dance. Usually she hangs out by the bar & pool table. After her dance everyone in the club was clapping it was that good. I noticed that she didn't go around asking for lap dances and went straight back to her post by the bar.

The ladies here are overall very cool but they are firm about asking for dances if you sit at any of the tables. If you sit at the stools by the stage they don't approach you as much (except the one dancing might ask after her dance). Well that's the low down on the Purple Church.

I was passing thru Main St. And saw this hole in the wall called Pete's that said something about dancers. I was wondering what a hole in the wall joint like that got going on, but it's kind of a sketch area so I'm guessing kind of sloppy b*tches working there. Cheers.

S most of the clientele is active duty or retired Navy many who buy the barmaids drinks.

Assuming the City of Industry is not within 100 miles of you. I've read that Cheetahs can be fun on the day shift. At night, it's definitely not high mileage in my experience. Little Darlings has always been a dud for me too, though that might change if you can find the right girl (and a really good tip.) Forget about Pacers or Pure Platinum unless OTC. I doubt Deja Vu / Goldfingers / Expose offer much, but I could be wrong.
