Alright so as promised I'm reporting on what I experienced on my trip to SD. When I landed had a good amount of hrs. To kill before my buddy landed so went driving around. Accidentally I came across Cheetahs after coming from Hana (read massage report on that one haha) so decided to kill the last few hrs. I had there. Went in and it was a good size club, pretty slow going for a Sun. Afternoon so went and got my free drink and looked around. Most girls already had some guy and some were on their phones. Saw a nice looking on to my right on her phone so went up to her and asked if it was och if I sat next to her (no shit huh?) and she smiled and said yes. Her name was Jesse (maybe) and pretty down to earth girl. She surprised me how much of a intellectual conversation we could've had. Club surprised me in a way because after a bit of talk a girl came up to us and asked if I was tipping the girls and if I saw her dance, uncomfortably I said yes and gave her a dollar. Apparently that's the norm there which is annoying but I agree because I hate it when I see a girl on stage and everyone's watching but nobody's tipping. So that was whatever having girl after girl come up ever so often asking for a tip. After she went up there and came back gave her a nice tip and after some more conversation the obvious came out. Went to the "VIP" room and did 100 for 5 songs which was worth it. Don't know if she does it with everyone or if it was because we kind of clicked but everything was game on her and me. Touched her everywhere, sucked on her nice rack, and played with her down there with my fingers for a bit. If she was faking she did a good job of moaning and getting aroused. Got her number after we were done but never followed up because she supposedly had some kidney infection and by the time she went back to work I was leaving SD so whatever on that but nice way to start my trip in SD. Went there a couple more times and went back one more time with some busy Mexican girl, black hair and nice body but not as well as Jesse. Regret spending as much as I did on the Mexican chick, should've saved it for the massage place or on Jesse again haha. Good club to relax and maybe get lucky, bring your ones!

Looks like I'll be heading that way in a couple months just looking for a good club with a nice mix to kill a few hours in. Thanks for info. Right now rtff is showing old reports. Just curious as to is it the same deal now.

The strippers there get insulted if they don't get groped.

I've been going to Cheetah's lately. Usually on Thursday or Friday afternoon right after work around 5 PM.

I usually hang out eat & have a couple beers at the Bullpen right next door. Be sure to get your receipt after you pay your tab and head next door. Show it to them and it will take $10 off the $20 door fee. Also a lot of the talent that works next door hangs out here when they aren't working next door.

There's a few girls who work there who I knew at other clubs in the SD area and I hadn't seen or heard from them until I was at Cheetah's and saw them again.

Anyways these girls are cool to talk to and do not rush to get you back into the VIP area where it's a minimum 5 dances for $. But if you do go back into the VIP these girls will let you do a lot more than other girls who work there will let you do before they they try and up sell you and get you to spend at least $2. 5 to go into the icebox area of the club which I haven't been in there but know for sure it's a rip off.

As others have written, this is not your typical strip club. It harkens back to the olden days -- all you get is VIP dances and the two basic costs are $60 for 20 minutes and $80 for 30 minutes. After you get into the room, you negotiate the tip with your dancer and while YMMV, my sense is that all of the dancers have a full menu -- it's probably just the pricing which varies. The dancer I drew (Leilani. Who was a very cute, spinner type with massive amounts of body art and an infectious smile and personality) said that the girls don't get any of the house fee -- that their whole subsistence is in the tip. And as others have mentioned, while not cheap, you can get whatever you're looking for. I had a wonderful time with Leilani and would recommend her for others who like that type of girl. They also offer two girl girl shows for essentially double the price and double the tip.

I may return but there are so many other places to try and only limited time. . . .

Mitchell Bros is long gone, isn't it? If you compare Jolar's $20/10 min behind glass in a private booth to a strip club's $20/3 min not-very-private lapdance, it seems like a reasonable ROI to me.

Jolar has one girl who is well worth the visit. Her name is Pearl. She is a very pretty young Asian girl. US born and raised, judging from no accent. Super thin, super cute, and super sexy in the booth. Her shift is noon to 5 weekdays, but not every day, so it's worth calling ahead.

She seemed young though, this could be the same one. The Pearl I knew was Cambodian and Chinese, I think. If this is her, thank you. Its good to know she's still around.

Somewhere I seem to remember reading something about the theater itself being more of a guys seeking guys kind of place, if anyone was hooking up at all. Though I don't remember seeing anything on site at Jolar suggesting that.

I assumed that since the actual Mitchell brothers themselves are long gone, none of their theatres survive. I have been to the one in San Francisco, but it was decades ago. And you're right, the Jolar theatre is nothing like it.

I also did not understand that you were talking about the movie theatre inside Jolar, which is $10 for 4 hours with 4 screens of movies. I've been talking about the live girls in glass booths there, which is $20 for (I think) 10 minutes.
