There really isn't any good spots out there. I was out there a few months ago, Every street has bright ass streetlights. All the damn one-way streets. There's a couple of Alleys you can sneak off into but I've never felt comfortable doing that because you're right behind people's houses. It's an awful area for the hobby, have no clue how it became a stroll in the first place.

Five. Maybe six. City of Southfield PD SUVs cruised Seven Mile and Grand River between Shiawassee and Five Points (Detroit jurisdiction). They were looking for something. The odd thing was there was no accompaniment (courtesy or otherwise) by Detroit PD or Wayne County Sheriff. I cruised around and beyond the Triangle parameters for about an hour. I can't tell you what kind of situation would warrant that kind of action outside of a fugitive search or murder suspect pursuit- and it was a pursuit as some of the Southfield PD SUVs crossed lanes at high speeds and at other times patiently stopped for red lights. Never were there flashing lights or sirens. They just swarmed like bees in September. Be careful out there.
