With restrictions loosing up from the GOV was thinking of doing some hunting this week. Any areas in DET? I use to hunt 6 and Tel are my resources there have been skimpy for the last couple years. Any leads on some good places to look?

These days it is far to risky picking up SW's without a car in states or cities that have loitering laws. The problem is that there is not a way to do a LE check without implicating yourself for loitering.

Was it the CVS on Michigan & Martin st? Because I had a friend of mine a year ago who fell for that sting and LEO sprang on him. That Lady is a set up to lure people like us. AVOID that area at all costs LEO loves to set up stings by that CVS.

I took a stroll down the ave around 1 pm Thursday. Livernois to Lonyo. Not Much going on. There was an undercover in a black older impala (2001-4 looking) had someone in front of the DQ pulled over. Too many vehicles parked with dark tinted windows for any scooping. You never know who's lurking. Down further by the ford dealer there was a tall red head looking SW. She was walking with a guy. Every time I see her some guy is by her. I just kept going. Stay safe out there. Remember Big brother is always working somewhere.

When I was heading back 2 more black marked cars (marked in black) were there.

Been doing some scoping of the Six-Tel area. So, the upside is that, with the weather improving, the area's come alive quite a bit. You can find a number of walkers along the east side of Tele from the corner of 6 down to the Citgo, along 6 heading west, and the close side streets. You can also see some at times along the south side of Grand River.

The downside is, uncle down the road is doing what seems to be hourly sweeps of the area. You'll see something off the corner somewhere, swing for a better look, and there's a prowler entering the area. They're also rolling through the notel right there on the regular. Tow boys will sit on the area even when there isn't an active prowler or obvious UCs. Because they don't have to wait very long.

I've also been checking Mich Ave in Ink. So far, that's been pretty dead. Maybe catch sight of one or two near the notels on either end of the run, but nothing along B-Daly or Harri-Cherry any of the times I've gone through. But I've also rarely seen uncle swinging through that area.
