Well I've had luck throughout the day. I had about 5-6 encounters in that area and I had some in the am some around the noon hours and even late at night around 12-1. So I can't help u much on that

Quite a few no name no tells too so you didn't have to do it in your car and risk getting caught by uncle LEO. You could pick up any type of babe you were looking for. I used to start a cruise on 8 and Woodward. If I didn't find anything on Woodward I liked I would cruise it all the way down to the Cass, 2nd and 3rd street area always something there back then. Ahhh those were the days.

Visited Jumbos a couple of times in my youth. I had my first car date from that place. There was also another place on 8/Woodward I think it was called the Last Chance Bar. I was only there once but I remember tons of women.
It is too bad no places exist like that now. At least none that I am aware of. I haven't picked up anything off the street in years do to a bad experience. The internet has made the hobby a whole new world. Still yet, CL and BP don't appear worth the risk( to me) . I liked the bar scene much better.

I was down there one time when Sliwa was in town to train him up some Guardian Angels and they went to confront the p! Mps out front of the hotel. The GA's got their rears handed to them and ran away.
My hazy memory of the time is that the WSW's were gone by this point and it was mainly BSW's. Crack h0s were still a few years away.
There used to be a ho house around the block from the temple bar. Only 8-10 types. i stilll remeber my last ime there in '97. a thick rican named Peaches. Matter of fact, thats where I had my first date with CC. She was a stunner back then.
Ther was a motel down by Cass and the freeway, 1 block east of Cass high, that had short stays for 7 bucks.

Most of the dates were at the Temple hotel on Temple, the Viking on Gr River, Blackstone on 2nd, one place I remember was on the other side of John R. Oh yeah, there was this one house just one block off of Cass towards Woodward. Near Temple st. Had these two nice looking ladies Barbara a small petite light skin lady and Tina a large breasted tasty ebony lady. I spent quite a bit of time and money with them. 50 bucks and you would never leave without being completly satisfied. Remember a few times I wouldn't leave for hours I'd finish with one and while I was leaving the other would make me an offer I couldn't refuse. Those were the days.

I Was too young also. Discovered the corridor in 1993. It was an alternative to the woodward stroll for me. I remember the busty chick that was mentioned, also the ho house and the blackstone & Ansonia. Finally gave up even wasting my time driving through there last year. It's gone.

WSU built a huge new dorm, Illitch did all that stuff towards Woodward, etc. I wasn't around for the heyday, but things were still wild and wooly when I first cruised there in the late 80s. Does anyone remember Kim, a little WSW who used to work out of the mini-brothel mentioned earlier? I still remember picking her up late one night (like 3AM or something) from outside that ratty old party store near Cass and the I-75 service drive.
