However since you got the corner of the plate, strike! November 22 1963 which fell on a friday that year. Well 11 years old and in grade school in a north west burb. Of course we were like huh? But a partial day off (don't remember thinking that). And we were also given a day off on that Monday which was for jfk's funeral which we also watched (don't remember if it was start to finish), however my memories are of our black and white console zenith in our living room. When that c*apped out we had a smaller portable black and white sitting on top. I say portable probably 25 27 inches and thick as a brick. I just talked with a co-worker friend here at my company he lives near home depot on western av he ask me what "rapidito" means I told him why? He said yesterday I was washing my clothes at a laundry near home depot and I saw a couple of beautiful girls talking with lonely guys and one of then come next to me with another one holding a kid and she started talking sexy to me. And asking if I lives near there but like flirting and like 10 min. After she said to the other women take the kid to the other side of the laundry. And I was like ahh?
