I agree with you wholeheartedly brother. I've heard from over 5 dancers in August 2021 that they have resorted to day jobs because the clubs aren't generating enough cash flow for them any more. When the clubs were shut down for 6 months or so during the first COVID surge in 2020, upon reopening the dancers came back and tried to make up for lost revenue. Hustling in overdrive. They mentioned that the money still hasn't come back. You may find them working in the club on a dedicated day (like a weekend day) and then picking up another shift on a weekday.

I've had several strippers hit me up, but as you mentioned, inflated prices to what's available elsewhere (especially SA). I don't try to talk them down on their rate, simply say no thanks, and keep it moving. The strip club scene is on life support, so what we're seeing may be a money grab before they flatline. The Mouse's Ear is trying different aspects under new management and some of it's working, but The Ball (trying to rest on it's past glory, but the murder in July 2021 is still fresh in people's minds) and The Emerald (well, it will always be "ratchet" and anything goes) are acting like business as usual. Opportunities are there for those who are into stripper takeout, more so now that ever.

All I can say is good luck. I've tried on and off over the last few years whenever I see her, and she always gave me the "I don't do that" line. Maybe you'll have better luck, but I was more or less a familiar face and still got turned down.
