I just got tested on Friday and I'm clean. You should try to think with your big head and if you use protection the probability is extremely low. If you don't, well you're playing Russian roulette but that's your decision.

According to the 2018 edition of The Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy (20th edition, page 1624), "condoms to not cover all areas that can be affected and thus do not fully protect against genital herpes. ".

The chapter of this book about "genital warts" says "Because of the location of these warts, condoms may not fully protect against infection" (p. 1704).

The most protective condoms are the Unique (sometimes called Pasante Unique) condom, that is pulled rather than rolled on and covers the whole penis and has a flange at the bottom that covers a small area beyond the base of the penis. Another good choice that covers much better than usual condoms is the female condom with the inner loop REMOVED and the condom pulled over and worn on the penis rather than used by the woman.

Update: I got something. Ruined my whole goddamned weekend.
