I think statistically you run a greater risk of picking up some sort of bacterial or viral infection (like gonorrhea) that can be treated with anabiotic's.

The actual female to male transmittance of HIV is pretty low but there is a host of other bacteria lurking in a woman's pussy, it's the perfect incubator for disease being a warm wet environment. So having shared such romantic thoughts with you most of the girls are pretty clean but if it smells like fish or smells dirty you probably don't want your dick in it (at least uncovered) and I know many std's do not display outward symptoms for a prolonged period of time if ever. Whether its through your hands your saliva or your semen, any exchange of bodily fluids (sweat ,pussy juice or sperm) are ways that we can exchange std, Same way you can get the common cold or flu by just being In proximity to all the aerosol excretions that human beings give off massage is a more intimate environment and I dont see people too worried about catching the flu when theyre getting their body rub

There's just potentially so many things that can go wrong, so risk management the keyword. If you limit your own expose to unprotected partners and get regularly tested, You minimize the risk of yourself getting infected or spreading it on to other people. Assuming of course you're not a selfish asshole that doesn't care about infecting other people if you have any sort of conscience you will stop when you're aware that you have something.

Try to be sensible about the whole thing or better yet always cover up or just stay home and cry like a little baby that you never get laid, There's risk anything you do in life including drive to work in the morning, so try to put things in perspective.
I know there is a lot of "common knowledge" out there regarding STDs and transmission. Problem is that most of it is wrong. I. e. Not supported by the science or facts.

Yes, transmission rates from women to men are VERY low for HIV. Especially important is having in tact, uncompromised, skin on your penis. The skin was designed to be a barrier and a pretty good one at that. However, if there are cuts, scrapes, rashes, abrasion or worn down skin the barrier can be compromised and less effective.

But I'd love to see to evidence from scientific studies that demonstrates that a "fishy smell" is a consistent, reliable indicator of disease in a vagina! If one uses that as a guide they are fooling them self. Some women's vagina have a different odor than others. I have been with women who I know were 100% clean (we were tested together. Full panel) and they had an odor to them. Vaginas with an infect do not always generate a smell or odor. So the point is that the "sniff test" is worthless for disease detection and only one for aesthetic purposes.

But avoiding STDs is a matter of risk management. As I have posted previously in this thread, most humans are terrible about perceiving risk and managing it appropriately. If you are scared of STDs whether rational or not, then COVER UP every time! But also know that if you mess up and catch something: 1) There is nothing out that there that will kill you! (HIV is a manageable chronic condition these days). Most of what is out there can be treated with drugs.

But hey, I get the misunderstandings that are out there. The CDC spread a bunch of baloney years ago when HIV first became an issue and scare tactics were the only way to control behavior. Science & technology have marched on, sadly "beliefs" based on old information seem to persist.

    Thanks. Good information

Thanks for the link to the county health department, That’s good information to have

The issue is there's several different factors that are vehicles for STD transmission in a massage parlor. I still think the vast majority of people are getting hand jobs and therefore their risk is almost minimal unless they're kissing the girl and she has mononucleosis or herpes outbreak, getting a massage and A manual release (to my way of thinking) is a very safe outlet.

Where did he say he only got a handie? We've had reports here of people getting BBFS at San Diego parlors.

Why go to your doctor? The county clinic does a pretty good job, specializes in this stuff, and is free.

I just got tested on Friday and I'm clean. You should try to think with your big head and if you use protection the probability is extremely low. If you don't, well you're playing Russian roulette but that's your decision.

    Most condoms provide inadequate protection!

According to the 2018 edition of The Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy (20th edition, page 1624), "condoms to not cover all areas that can be affected and thus do not fully protect against genital herpes. ".

The chapter of this book about "genital warts" says "Because of the location of these warts, condoms may not fully protect against infection" (p. 1704).

The most protective condoms are the Unique (sometimes called Pasante Unique) condom, that is pulled rather than rolled on and covers the whole penis and has a flange at the bottom that covers a small area beyond the base of the penis. Another good choice that covers much better than usual condoms is the female condom with the inner loop REMOVED and the condom pulled over and worn on the penis rather than used by the woman.

    Here's an article for you.

    https://www.gq.com/story/ask-dr-jake...-from-oral-sex

More dangerous for the person giving oral than receiving.

And, realistically, most people have been exposed to Herpes.

As far as you guys who like t give oral (is DATY the proper acronym?

The singer from Iron Maiden got throat cancer from that and so did actor Michael Douglas.

    No

It's a very low risk activity; you'd have a better chance of getting hit by lightning.

    I agree. . .

Especially with BBFS and if I hear that is what a gal provides I tend to take a pass, BUT. . .

Sometimes the little head gets the better of the big head.

Then it's hope and pray or ask yourself was it worth it.

Update: I got something. Ruined my whole goddamned weekend. Tingly penis, frequent urination, inflamed urethra, inflamed prostate, slight pain in balls, crazy rash from the oil used, many sleepless nights. I went to the city sti clinic on division (austin neighborhood). No chlamydia, still waiting for results on gonnoreah. Nurse said I had an NGU, which is basically a bacterial infection.

Also, any help as to clinics (cheap and discrete) would be much appreciated.

You can but not necesery. Chlamydia, often it's transmited by uncover BJ even. If you got contamined, you may feel itching while you pee. It's easy to cure in1- 2 weeks, you can order pils online without prescriptions. (I have some in case).

Whta's that place you went to?

Same thing happened to me. My main concern was herpes, but no symptoms after 1 month. Will get tested after 6 weeks just for peace of mind. Unprotected sex is too risky with the amount of customers that an my sees.
