I'm planning to make my first return to TJ / HK since February.

Got my visa pass back in July and have gone 6 times since then, mostly in the last month. Each time I parked at the trolley spot on Beyer, trolley to San Ysidro, walk through the left side using the visa and boom I'm in TJ. I went there multiple times in the past months. The Mexican border guards never asked me why I went to TJ. They did take away my 6-month visa last time a couple of weeks ago, after I used it to enter TJ for more than a year. So had to get in line to get a day pass. It is free and no questions asked. They do check temperature each time though. So don't go if you have a high temperature.

The 6-month visa is about $30. Then you can go through the Mexican lane without stopping for 6 month. I heard that you will also need it if you plan to go to other Mexico citys from TJ. That is what I plan to get next time so I don't need to wait in the foreigner's lane for another 6 months (or longer if they don't take it away after 6 months hahaha).

Well I finally made my return to Tijuana for the first time since February. Arrived around 11:30. The process into Mexico was a breeze. The guy in front of me went to the officer on the left, I went to the one on the right. I don't speak Spanish, but this guy was acting like he did and the officer wasn't having it.
