I can't imagine Yuri mama allowing her to bartend after what happened to her and her partner at Splash. I really like hanging out with her and getting a hella lot of freebies. Once she drunk, its Game On! Last saw her and she took me home and had to hide me in her room while she got her daughter ready for school. Pretty fun times with her, good luck fellas!

Psycho mama at Cleo suddenly announces her fourth or fifth grand opening this year on the very same days! Isn't it enough Kimberly robbed Tammy blind when she moved out of the Cleo location on Keeaumoku? Heard Tammy mama's going to have some good grindz, as opposed to the death camp cuisine Cleo provided during grand opening #4 last month.

Strange, tall coco and her other tall jolly giant were bartending. After the bad rep I'm surprised that they allow her to bartend again. Those of you who know Coco know what I'm talking about.
Lots of girls working but IMHO nothing special, still the regular gang.

Which Kalihi bars have floor girls early? Early is good. Most Kap area bars, no more floor girls and bartenders only ROB and when shift finishes, take off like Fred Flintstone when whistle blows as you already know.I'm not a daytime Kalihi guy like MM and Wangn but a lot of bars like CS have KBGs working floor early. The night shift girls starts later afteroon too as Kalihi starts much earlier than town as far as customers and crew. Keep in mind that you not going find young ones as it is Kalihi, hehe. Okay mongers I have found my new place xo lounge the old romantei is the spot. The bartenders are ridiculous and will get crazy later in the night. The vietnamese sandwiches are delicious. The young mama even made me bbq last night which was awesome. The girls there are super hot young thai and korean girls and no oldee it is not a kiddie bar. Some need your training so please go in there and make it even better. Best part of the new bar is the new lounge area were the dart board use to be. Tell one of the girls you want some coffee and the young mama will whip you up a batch its pretty damn good. And oh yeah mariko is there doing her thing so you know there is a for sure thing if you got the money hahaha. See you guys there tonight if you can beat me at karaoke I will buy you a drink.

I was in the area, so decided to check this place out. Place looks kinda shady, but said wth and went in. There was a lady at the entrance sitting on a chair who asked me if I was looking for the restroom. Told her no and went straight to the bar and ordered a drink. The bartender was a old lady who my guess was around 60+ years old. She was leaning over and showing off her wrinkled cleavage. Then another auntie came by and sat next to me. Introduced herself as Jay. 5'3, 50+yrs. C-cups, black hair past shoulders. Asked for drink, but told her next time. So she just sat and talked with me for the whole 20 mins. I was in there. She was very touchy, feely and hinted play was to be had. But just wasn't into her, a little too old for my liking. Was kinda expecting to find someone in there like Choi or Kyong. So left disappointed and probably won't return anytime soon.

Yet another successful excursion on the Aloha Korean Bar Tour with Sir Oldee Saturday Night. Started at D'Amour, then made the rounds through Ellies, Business, down Sheridan to Splash (which was fairly busy). Voice box blown out from the night before, so no karaoke. Got to see first hand into the psyche of self-conscious hostesses who try to use bobbles, less than flattering clothing, and gimmicks to try to gain the edge on girls who have the upper hand by just being themselves and relying on their natural beauty. It's no wonder which category is busy all night while the other spends the entire evening, face stuffed in their smart phones wondering why they can't get customers. You know who you are! Envy and Jealousy are very unsavory (and dangerous) traits. So you girls who display them on a nightly basis, get your shit together if you are going to succeed. And those who possess natural beauty and don't need to flaunt it, I'll buy you nekos any night!

Heard that Mama Mia (kools lounge) coming out of retirement and going to take over Waterfall. Looks like there will be known action in Kalihi again.We confirmed that Mama Mia is back to work at the old Fire and Ice location off Waikamilo next to the Gamerz Edge place. Parking is tough there.
Is there a play area in that bar? Maybe make a left at the front door instead of a right? Any new play girls there? We three went in in the late afternoon, stood out like a sore thumb, had two beers each, and left. Next time, we'll come later. We didn't see anyone promising or truly attactive.

I visited cleos and honu on Tuesday for their grand opening. Cleo was good, dinner was good, kalbi ribs, crab legs, poke and salad. Sorry I missed her at Casino, I only recently resumed going there. I don't like the sickly (for lack of a more precise description) smell in D' Amour. I visited the kap bars Tuesday night, I wanted to see the lingerie night at EG. Was okay, not that great. Some girls looked good in lingerie, one or two hotties. So yesterday I started drinking at noon and called Jedi Master to come hangout but he couldn't hangout until later. I had lots of time to burn before I meet up with the master Jedi.
I first went to Misty's to drink and to guarantee get my packaged played with. I stayed there for about 5 hrs, I've been going there for quite a while so I knew how to make them wait for my drinks cause you know if you go to Misty's for the first time and you not use to the playgirls at the viet bars, you might as well just give all your money on the first drink. Well just say I stayed there long enough to drink for 5 hrs and cum in a chicks mouth and only spent a $. I got a good buzz and left Misty's, I wanted to look at TNA.
I arrived at Fem Nu, I did not expect to see talent at this place as everyone know is going down hill and I was right. As the night went on, we felt bad for him, Oldee even tried to reason with him and the girl that was with the korean guy was kind of getting mad at Oldee cause he was messing up her money making machine. I don't know if the guy was stupid or rich maybe he was both. He said lived in Hawaii for four years and the girl he was with explained that he was a cousin or friends of a cousin or something and she was trying to reason with Oldee that it was okay to rob this sad bastard. At the end of the night the korean guy checked his bill and his eyes opened wide and had to check the bill twice. Was sad he paid for it, I could feel his pain, I think he was to drunk to be sad.
Overall it was good learning experience and I had a good time. Thanks Oldee! I probably may have left some stuff out, but that was all I could remember.

So yesterday I started drinking at noon and called Jedi Master to come hangout but he couldn't hangout until later. I had lots of time to burn before I meet up with the master Jedi.
I first went to Misty's to drink and to guarantee get my packaged played with. I stopped drinking years ago for health reasons.
I still enjoy the chase however. Is it possible for some to be able to play the game at KBs with out drinking?

Hit up a few places last night after the car show. I rarely go to these bars and a few were my first time there. Went Casino first and sat at the bar. Some young cute girls there but I could tell they are princesses and didn't sit with any of them. Had an older MILF talk to me at bar and we chatted for a long time because we had something in common. She bought me a beer and I paid for 1 drink which was the only one of the night. Probably play to be had but she is not my type. Was my first time in Casino.
Went to Butterfly and had 1 beer. Some good looking girls there and this is my fourth time drinking there and have never been approached by any of them. I like this place to drink and not be bothered LOL. I even was obviously checking out a few and made eye contact but no dice which is good for my wallet.
Did a walk thru Evergreen it was packed with the usual girls and no seats at bar so moved on out the door with a couple thirsty girls hot in pursuit trying to stop me from leaving LOL.
Went in Twilight for the first time. Bartender Cindy was very nice and friendly. Male bartender ignored me no big deal. Couple of cute looking KBG's but wasnt feeling it so went exploring some more. Peeked my head in the two bars at the end I think one is called Sandy's but didn't look intriguing so headed over to XO with caution as I know it's a kiddie bar and I am not in that category. Sat at bar and ya this place is full of drunken testosterone. Felt like a fight could break out any second but I have a high tolerance for rowdy bars and hung out. Bartenders were cute and did not go in side rooms but saw some hotties walking around. Had a couple beers and headed out before the inevitable drama broke out.
Maybe next time I will take the Aloha KB tour with Oldee. I bet it would be fun and educational.
So where is the happening place on Sundays? Very rare that I drink on Sabbath Sundays so maybe I should just head to my favorite waterhole. Pandora's. Idk who's bartending though. Galavanting anyone?

You might get lucky if you get a girl champaign but that a .001% chance. If she an ajumma (old korean lady) your chance rises maybe 1. Korean bars is mostly look, no touch. If touching is involvoed, it's probably some puppy dog bs. It's a perfect place if you want to SEE eye candy, that's it. Hostess bars are supposed to be places were you can have a girl friend experience conversation with some hot Korean girls, but from my experience these girls can't keep a 1 second conversation, every other sentence is going to end in the token "buy me drinky."
The reason why I go to these bars is because the beer is cheap. Two bucks average for your domestic beer. If you go to a regular sports bar its four to seven bucks.

Whenever we get questions like this, many bros help out posting good info for a newbie often times only to find out they were just curious and no go wasting everyones efforts to help.
When all is said and done; your best choice to experience KBs in all its glory will be Aloha Korean Bar Tours. Mainlander's, discount price. 15 beers. I know local price 2 beers (actually free) but local guys turn into future KB posters but you go back mainland. Still that is super cheap. If expensive to you, no sense even think going KBs.

I'd say the percentage of Kalihi KBG's who are worthy of eye candy status is less than 2. So with EC being so sparse and a rare sight in Kalihi, I don't bother paying any attention to workers since 98.5% of them will be run of the mill providers.

In that general area is the nexus of remaining bars (compared to before WalMart came); Makaloa/Kapiolani, Keeaumoku and Sheridan Streets (which surround WalMart) all have bars such as Casino, Butterfly, Evergreen, Twilight, Business, and Camelot to name a few.
It is not unusual for men to become quite enamored and even territorial with hostesses; LoVerBoy is a term created by Oldee along those lines and others.
A hostess drink is $20, IMHO do not fall for the $40 ripoff; their justification does not fly with me.
Pay with cash, do not use plastic. Personally, I never buy a drink for her "friend"; that's $20 gone in 15 seconds.
If for example she's demanding a drink every 5 minutes, get rid of her.
There are enough bargirl tricks, dating back to before many of us were even born, to fill a pamphlet. Generally though, if you think you are being played, you probably are and do feel free to cut your losses at any time.
It seems a lot of girls take off on Friday night, so Saturday might have a good selection of girls as well as certain weeknights. Most of the younger ones don't arrive until at least 8 pm and sometimes as late as 11 pm, especially if they just came from a date with another customer.
Some of the hotter girls work on Sundays to catch the customers they were too busy too see on Friday or Saturday nights.
