I don't think it's a matter of hype, as many mongers have great experiences at Saigon. I think it's a matter of variability. And I don't yet understand the factors that cause the variability, where one guy has a great time, and another guy (or the same guy on another day) gets a turd experience.

Finally pulled the trigger on visiting Saigon yesterday for the first time. Called ahead as I was dipping out of work to make an appointment with Tiffany for 3:45. I counter with FS for that price, wanted even more. Settle on the BBBJ. Oil up more stroke than BJ but ended up in about a 5 min BJ with the rest of the action a stroke to titjob combo. Finished on tits. Cleaned up and out around 4:35. Pretty steep for less than 30 minutes of real action. Looks wise reminds me of one my frequent stops in New York..
