So what's the environment out there now? Is the posts about shut downs, raids, robberies and police surveillance at spots around Chinatown accurate?

I've had no issues and would take any unverifiable claims from a single source with a grain of salt. I did see some guy working on the facade of Orange Spa, so maybe they'll be reopening that venue in the future.
