AA is not new, been there a while as AA, before that it was Diamond Star for a long time. Maybe it's new ownership / management but the one and only time I was there a while back, it was nothing great.

After originally posting this I started thinking about the place and now I'm quite certain I received a text from them not too long ago. Unfortunately, I deleted it, and don't remember exactly what it said. My one visit there wasn't good enough to warrant a return trip so I just deleted it without thinking too much about it. Now I'm wondering if that had anything to do with their merger or whatever is happening with them.

In any desert you need to find water, they have some of the old Canadian folks there.

I went there a year ago and she asked me more than once if I'd been there before. Yes I replied. Then she proceeded with no teasing or finish.

Has anyone tried Acupressure Sun Spa in Minnetonka? I have no idea how long it's been there but it seems newer. Near Lunds / Byerly's off of Excelsior Blvd.

The table shower at Shanghai is $30. It's located a couple of doors down from the former Better Massage which got shutdown in 2019. Pretty sure nothing is going special is occurring having been there while a table shower is going on.

I mean, did you literally watch them get a table shower? I can understand the need for discretion while there are 2 mongers in the place. Even at the places that were good over here in the TC, I never heard other mongers go crazy during my visits. As long as the table shower is there and it's a good place to visit, I'll keep it in mind. Thanks for the intel brother.

I did call after work and the lady said they moved to a new location which is AA Massage but that is an existing place. Search of forum indicates bad experiences at AA.

Sad to hear. There used to be a few options around that area. Economics and pandemic killed a lot of that stuff, I suppose.

I'd probably go to the Gladiator bar down the road in Gilbert for a few beers and see if I could make friends with an entrepreneurial dancer. Biwabik itself is a sleepy little town that is trying to look like a mountain town from the Alps. More touristy geared towards families, skiers, and cabin folk.

If you're talking about the place on Mountain Shadow Dr, never had been there when it was open, but drove by a year ago, empty storefront with no tenant. Maybe someone with the same name has moved back in, don't know.

Additionally, anyone visit Shanghai up in Duluth? They have a table shower that I would be down to try if it weren't so far from here.

It's not a big fancy bath house by any means. Hot tub area with attached sauna separated by gender. Similar to what you'd get at a nice gym, but you're required to be fully nude. There's like 5 shared heat rooms to lay and sweat in and an attached restaurant and aforementioned massage space. It's a nice place to just laze out all day in, dip in hot tub, sauna, repeat till you're melted.

God this is not the place to review this place in LOL. Ah well, enjoy!

Where on Google did you see it was open?

I know what happened. For some reason, Google scraped the metadata somewhere for Maple after it had been taken down. Not just reported as closed, but totally taken down and data scrubbed from Google's DB. If you search on maps, it will appear with no reviews or photos and no other data. A glitch is all it is.

Additionally, the person who answered was someone at AA Massage. They inherited Maple's number after closure.

I can wholly verify that Maple is gone gone. I drove by and saw the place empty from the window with a big for lease sign up. Their big light up business sign is still there, probably easier to just leave it up. Maple is dead ya'll. Dead dead. I haven't driven by Summer to confirm, but I imagine since they have the same management, it's also likely dead dead. Here's hoping I'm wrong.

Maple leaf appears open for business again. Google said it was opened. Called the 6099 number and a person picked up. Didn't ask as I was at work around people. Anyone been since closure? Still good service?
