I dealt with enough crackwhores in my 20's. Running off on me, I was left alone with a pregnant chick who was smoking crack offering to blow me because her friend just robbed me. I think I have hit my limit on the lower to mid tier women. I am not in my 20's anymore and the thought of dealing with some of this BS that a lot of these ladies bring to the table is getting tiresome. My first thought is to see a decent provider that has enough cred to be a reference, who maybe doesn't require so much background info on who I am. If I see her 3 or 4 times hopefully then I can use her as a reference and start working my way up the chain.

What is acceptable? Anyone have any experience or ways to get around this? Thoughts?

I agree with your caution. Keeps me from even thinking about verifying with Alena Chicago. As tempting as they may be, the owner has a reputation, and I would not be comfortable coughing up my real world info.
