This is what so many guys, including some in this forum, fail to understand, and why they continue to struggle with overpriced GPS instead of finding reasonable allowances.

It seems to me that 300 (plus hotel) is now the usual baseline for 8+ girls. Maybe even 7+. Yes you can get some 6's and 7's for 200, maybe, if you contact hundreds of them. And contacting hundreds of them not a bad strategy, although certainly time consuming.

But I doubt many hot girls are ok with less than 300 on first visit. I mean like less than 5% of them, or somewhere in that area. More and more of them want 400 minimum, even the homely ones. I have no idea how many guys go for that, but if you have to negotiate too hard with them, then less likely they will provide good service. But perhaps that is not a huge factor.

Anyway, you make good points not to overpay, but it isn't that clear what price point "overpaying" begins at, with different classes of girl.

It ran the gamut: some were blatant, others would talk in old backpage code (roses, etc), others you just needed to message a little back and forth. It was set up more as a social media site rather than a dating site.

The things I noticed on this most recent round were.

1) Most useful features are now behind a paywall (still free to message though, so there's that).

2) Bots EVERYWHERE. Like 90% of the profiles I was clicking on had a join date of today / yesterday.

I think it's a lost cause unfortunately.

Seeing all the SDM references here, I decided to create an account and see what all the commotion was about. One of the first things they ask me to do is scan my face, basically a selfie, so they can compare it to my uploaded personal photo, that they require!! Really? WTF, am I missing something here?? Yeah it's annoying, I had to do something like that when I did Uber a few years back. You had to upload your driver's license (Uber), and then ask you to take a picture of your face with the app. Every few months the app asked you to scan you face again to verify yourself. I had to do the same thing this Christmas when I booked a AirBnB. They got your license, but they want you to take a selfie to match it up.

It's up to you, but it's probably the same kind of thing, as it's not SDM holding your picture; it's whatever security company does that verification service for them. The good thing is, if that company gets hacked in the future it's going to be their name in the media, not TallGuy is on SDM.
