I saw an Asian one recently in Brighton / Allston that wanted a photo, I told them No and was going to leave before they said "come in". I'm sure they were looking through their thick curtains to make sure I was OK. Everything worked out. But I would've left without hesitation if they required a photo / video.

Hows the screening?

Nobody seems to want to answer this. Are you guys sending photos of your IDs out again?

My first contact was texting their phone number. They responded by requesting a video verification over Wechat or Whatsapp. They told me they needed to see my face and ensure it matched my license. The only thing they needed to see on the license was my name. I held up my I'd and blocked all other information. The video call was one-way and lasted less than 10 seconds. No pictures or information was shared over text. The only thing they could have done to keep what little information they had on me was to take a screenshot during the short call.
