Yesterday, I got a text and then a call from someone claiming to "own the escort service", and that I had to pay $3000 immediately for "wasting my girls' time" and if I didn't he was going to send his hit men to kill me and my family. Blocked all the numbers and buttoned down my privacy settings on socials. Just recieved another text saying a death warrant has been issued for me and my family, etc.

Did my research and this seems to be a common scam, but it's still terrifying. Just wonderiing if anyone else has had anything like this happen?

This is very good information. I will add that when I first contact a lady I will ask what area of town they are in and I tell them it is important to plan a visit. That gives the chance for me to see if it is a scam too. If they do not provide an area then I leave it be.

Once we make a plan for a visit I ask for instructions as soon as possible. Many will not provide until 30 minutes prior.
