Obviously I should have been questioning this whole conversation while it was happening, but the fact that they were pressuring me to wire them money to a specific bank just irked my senses enough to beg the question WTF. Kept telling me to stay on the line and not put mute or anything or I would immediately be arrested. Pretty much your typical tactic of separating someone from the heard and then put them in a high pressure situation. Man am I embarrassed. Part of me wishes I had gotten this guys PNC account so that I would report them for pretending to be LEO.

Yes, you fell for a scam and know you got caught up in the stress and pressure. But, thank you for posting this and not being afraid to admit it. You may have helped some of us avoid similar situation in the future. The worst part is, they obviously got your number from someone you visited previously.

For what it's worth. Disclaimer- never saw her, although would like to try myself sometime. That phone number does lead to san diego, however 323 I believe is so cal so that is ok.
