Anytime you are contacting a provider for the first time, use a burner number to ask your specific questions. Get the answers, you can always "book" an appointment and wait to see if you get any deposit requests, or any weird vibes but don't even bother going. If everything seems ok, go to the next step.

Now, use a different burner number, but this time just ask for an appointment without asking any details or asking questions that could be perceived as illegal.

Delete the first app with anything incriminating on it before you get to where you're meeting. At least if you end up in a sting, you have plausible deniability for the specific reason you were there.

I usually just say something like hey are you available for a date at 7 tonight on the second number.

I have to agree with other response about doing research before trying to meet and get disappointed.

I've learned (the hard way) about Listcrawler ads how to screen them and weed out probable fakes. For me, I've experienced the ones that post in multiple cities on same day were just looking for gullible targets who'll pay a deposit. I learned this after a day of searching for potential hookup and 5 of 5 contacted wanted deposits which we all know is never done. Went back to their ads, clicked on "old posts" and saw all 5 had ads in multiple cities (hundred miles apart).

I posted this report earlier this month, I. E. , do the research.

Another monger added his experience of avoiding providers who don't list a specific location in her ad. These ads also post in multiple cities.
