You're incorrect. Two women were killed on January 6th. One was beaten to death by a police officer's batton who repeatedly struck here lifeless body. People attempted to perform cpr and revive her. The cops instead dragged her body and prevented that. I have no idea if they have released the autopsy for the real cause of death.

I haven't seen video of protesters actually attacking Capital Police but if they did I would absolutely have no problem with the police defending themselves wit a firearm or any other method.

About 75 of them faced charges of using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious bodily injury to an officer, which by your brand of justice, 75 people should have definitely been shot. It seems the hotel called concerning their activities. The police did a quick investigation and easily found the accusations were true. They followed up, and made a few arrests. That's what that police do, they respond to citizen complaints, investigate and make a arrest. The hotel deemed them a nuisance, did not want to throw them, too messy, so they call the cops. Everybody who went to the Capitol on January 6 deserved to be shot, bombed, gassed, etc. I would've loved to see all those people get what they deserved that day and this is coming from somebody who was for Trump 2020.

Shortly before the incident with Mr. Brooks, the Fulton Co DA Paul Brown charged two other police officers with aggravated assault for tasing a couple who refused police commands to exit their vehicle. So using the criteria that taser usage constitutes aggravated assault, Mr. Brooks threatened aggravated assault upon a police officer. If he had tased the officer he could have then taken his gun and used it. It makes no sense defending a person who takes an officer's weapon and threatens them with it.
