I'm bored tonight so I figured I'd post a little advice for those who feel like they are wasting their time chasing nothing but scammers. Here's a profile I just came across, and in less than a second I've decided they are a scammer and normally wouldn't even bother to message them. Now, for the sake of having a 2nd possible post later "spotting scammers in chat" I actually did message this one, but only as an experiment. If "she" responds (and I use quotation marks because they are almost certainly a Romanian / Indian / Russian dude running a scam) I'll post the convo and point out the obvious scammer signs.

I'm currently plowing 2 early 30's hotties (not simultaneously LOL) for 300 each and they host. Yeah, if you can't get laid by hotties on SA for 200 - 300 PPM, the issue is with you. Whether because you're letting yourself only talk to the super hotties (highest probability for scammers / GPS / flakes), not being charming in chat, or not practicing good scammer proofing (getting verification pics, looking up their socials to confirm they are real).

Totally agree that scammers and chics from TikTok with GPS have flooded the site, but you can still find good chics if you look. Make no mistake, it takes a lot of work. You do have to grind, and I always recommend striking fast. If you chat too much, some other fish will flash a shiny object, and they will be gone. Once you find a good match, try and set the meet within the next 48 hours at most. I have noticed the normal ask has jumped from 300 up to 400 and higher, but If you are cool, and talk nice, you can usually get them down.

One of the more unusual scams I've ever run across. Actually so unusual I'm not sure it is a scam as much as it would be just a way to overpromise and under deliver. And I can't help but feel like her pic looks super familiar. Maybe another guy saw her under a different profile name.

Anyways, she wants a "gift" when you meet in person, a fishing reel. It runs over 700. She told me she'd see me 3 times if I brought one. Of course there's a million different ways that's a bad idea. Best case scenario is you do see her once, give her the gift, have fun one time, then she ghosts. When I offered to pay her more PPM than the reel would cost over 3 meets, she took offense.

If I had to guess, the scam actually isn't about that, but instead she's (or whoever is running this account) is likely selling these things, and I suspect if I showed more interest she'd sent me a link to buy them, then of course would no show the meet. And when you tried to return it, the place you bought it from wouldn't accept the return, and if you try to re-sell it you find out you got some cheap knockoff not worth what you paid for it. I'm just spitballing, that may be way to complex for this, but it's the only way I could play it out in my head. Anyways, if anyone has seen her before she got into shark fishing let me know if I'm missing a good thing. Otherwise, this was one of the stranger conversations I had.
