I've seen stings like this before.

They have girls pan handling and just wait for guys to offer them money for other services. Then they jump in and turn the corner to where the cops are hiding or they just block the car. It's an easy setup.

The decoy gets in the monger's car? This is new for LEOs, around here anyway. I've never seen a decoy get in a suspect's ride. Risky! If this is true, it's a whole new game out there!

Last week several mongers and maybe one worker got busted just off of exit 19, Plant City. Looks like maybe nine guys charged. We don't see very many reports on Plant City locations. I saw some questions about east county a while back, maybe more action close to the interstate.

There was this report in the Escort thread http://www.usasexguide.nl/forum/show...=1#post5906834 that talked about suspect LC ads and the bust of 9-10 mongers. Are you sure these busts involved a decoy streetwalker sting operation off of exit 19 and not an escort sting at one of the nearby hotels?

In any event, I thought that any monger falling for such ads with so many red flags had only themselves to blame and I would say the same thing about any one falling for a decoy streetwalker in an area that's normally totally devoid of streetwalkers. Anyway, that's not a risk that I would ever take.

Still, this is a worthy area of discussion. It never hurts to be reminded of the types of traps one might fall into if one let's themselves lapse on precautions taken. I think ColdDrink's point was especially interesting, even if it didn't apply here. They don't always have to be posing as a streetwalker. Propositioning a panhandler can be risky too.

I live out here and never see streetwalkers but the sheriffs like to use a couple of the hotels right off the interstate to set up and post adds online then bust mongers responding to the ads.
