Speaking of getting robbed, do any of you carry some type of protection other than the one for the small head? Like a knife or a piece. I've been thinking of bringing my concealed carry but I feel like once my clothes start to come off it would be easily seen and I don't want it to scare the provider.

I carry a defensive knife (a Fox 598 karambit, fixed-blade) and CC a Walther PPQ SC (with XS sights and a grip sleeve) as my current EDC kit.

I've never had a problem with it. The knife really isn't an issue (not really noticeable) and I don't draw attention to handgun or flash it around, but I'm always "aware / in control" of it (for example, I wouldn't go to the bathroom and leave it unattended.) I have had providers remark on it, but pretty rarely; I usually figure they think I'm LE having some are&are and they just don't want to poke *that* with a stick.

I will say that I *always* carry on a daily basis. If you already do, I think it's fine (and advisable) to go ahead and carry while hobbying. But, if you don't normally carry, I would NOT carry as a "special occasion" while seeing providers and such; it's really not the time to be learning how to manage 2 A carry. Stick with your comfortable routine.

There are some really good subcompacts. If one is new to carry, a good starting point is a Glock 43 (I favor Glocks as anyone's first gun because they're so idiot-proof and resistant to neglect), and it is VERY concealable. Less of an issue when the pants come off. But again, I wouldn't *start carrying* just for the hobby; you should carry at all times if you're going to start. My two cents.

(I have had an occasional negative reaction to my handguns, but interestingly, only from OTC strippers, never from pro hoes.).

Guys wanted to make you aware of the latest girl that will rip you off. As off today she is staying at the Hometown Suites on Jimmy Carter and goes by the name of Jenna. I was holding out on an update cause I didn't want to think I'm in the clear and then something come up but it looks like I dodged a bullet. Idk what happened, if they were fake cops or what but I haven't gotten a call or anything in the mail. My guess is that since they didn't have any proof that what I was saying was true the superior ripped up the paperwork to avoid a potential suspect lying on an innocent civilian who could have every right to sue the department for lazy police work. At least that's what makes sense to me. Hopefully it's truly over and I don't check my mail today and get some bad news.

It should be easy enough to see if its a real citation, and you can call the court with the case # to verify. No one is going to come to your house or call over a citation, but that doesn't mean it can't snowball into something bigger if not paid. Best to be proactive on this.
