I have never had a good experience with a new girl who comes up to me and within the first few minutes asks if I want to get some dances, never not once, if a dancer is not willing to put at least 5 to 10 minutes worth of conversation before asking, you can almost guarantee she does not do extras or she is a rob, the smart dancers already know they need to butter a guy up first as part of the job, the young and GPS dancers think their time is too valuable to waste it talking, also one can learn a lot just by questions and answers during a 5-10 minute conversation.

It's definitely rare. Outside of the extras factories, I have had maybe two times in the last 25 years where a dancer I never seen before asks if I want some dances and it's been good.
