Just ask yourself do you want your image out there. Technically there is no legality being broken or nothing anybody can do with your image other than embarrass you. Unless you document a violation of the law in your transmission leading up to sending a picture. Remember the Internet is forever. I never send my image to anybody in this game.

Also, if they are asking for FaceTime verification they can snap a pic or record the whole interaction. This would be worse that a single photo which I would never send as well.
