The only one I know of on this side of the river that offers hourly rates and anytime check in and checkout is Louisville Manor. Someone once mentioned another one, but I don't remember what it was, and unfortunately he's no longer around.

I've also heard of an app that shows hotels that allow so called day use for a reduced rate, but you have to be out by a certain time. I think it's something like hotelsbyday, but when I looked a year or so ago, there weren't any local places listed. There might be others. The Manor has always worked well for me though.

It's great for when you just need a room for 4-8 hours. Another (and probably less expensive, depending) option would be to get a room the night before, standard checkout is 11 am or noon.
