Part of concern about parking in the CC parking structure is that it simply is a parking structure with only 1 way in and 1 way out. I was trapped in the parking structure a couple of years ago when there was a small fire in one of the units during the day. While it was fairly easy for me to personally exit the building when the fire alarms sounded (just a long downstairs walk), I could not retrieve my car from Level 3 in the parking structure for several hours. Of course, similar issues can arise if parked elsewhere (break-in, accident, towed, etc.). This hobby is fraught with unforeseeable events.
