Oh. Some 20 years ago I was caught in a sting on National right across street just east of McDonalds, she was walking westbound I was pulled over sitting in car headed east. I was on my phone talking to work and she and I made eye contact! Again looked much nicer than the crack addicts of today, and I was new to this area. Anyway I hung up the phone and she began to chat from outside my car window, then walked around my car to talk in my drivers side window. She leads on asking the typical questions, at some point I must have said enough to warrant. (as they say in court) justifiable cause. That my fellow mongers is all they need to arrest. Two good sized cops open my door, Zip ties my wrists and says get out of the car. Shut car off and get thrown in a squad car which takes me to a paddy wagon in the old grocery store parking lot where they proceed to get you to confess, then they'll let you go with a warning and maybe fine! Don't say a word, as that is BS, cause you admit to guilt your given rights and get taken to jail. First stop on 27th and Oklahoma, sit there all afternoon sitting in cell till they had enough of us, booked, photos, prints and then wait and go downtown to main jail. Sat in holding area until Midnight, then find out I could post bail myself, but had to wait for shift change till I got my release around 2 or 3 am next morning. Bail was about two or three hundred back then. Got an attorney who ended up pleading no contest! Needless to say still on my record for having a conversation to under cover about this mongering were on here for. Be very very careful out there!

You mentioned it was awhile back. Was Dee a petite little blonde? Young, maybe early 20's? I seem to remember the name. She may have been the one that I was going to swing around to scoop up at 35th and Lisbon, when two dudes walking past her suddenly pushed her to the ground, rummaged in her coat and ran off with her in hot pursuit.

I wouldn't say petite she was short and curvy and more of a brunette. She used to live in the area and told me all the time about the SWs who were chocolate-faced always trying to mess with her because she was white. She was one hell of a ride al for two andrew jacksons. Man things were cheaper about a year and a half ago.

It's a Class A misdemeanour which means you can be arrested, taken to the station and booked. Usually released with a citation and notice to appear. Your car can be towed and impounded.

If convicted Milwaukee fairly recently increased the fines to between $2500 and $5000 for "Johns".

That's not even getting into problems it may cause with family, friends, spouse, significant other, employer.

Note you can also be busted for loitering with the intent to solicit prostitution.

It was late at night just off Lisbon. I had made arrangements earlier in the day to meet a BSW on a side street at like 11:00 pm. I arrive at the appointed time and place, and the SW comes up to my car when the Cherries and Berries flash behind me. I female cop in an unmarked had seen me turn off Lisbon into the neighborhood. Finding it strange for a white man to be prowling the streets, she followed me (Gahdamb racial profiling! Well, the SW was deaf, so I had spent some time that afternoon writing on a yellow tablet back and forth to her. She must have told them that because a male officer showed up and took it (it was still lying on the seat). Fortunately there was nothing sexual on the pad, BS kinda normal conversation "What's your name?" "How long you been doing this?" that kinda crap. When the officer gave me my tablet back, he asked me what I was doing now, at 11:00 at night. "I was witnessing for Jesus!" So the long and short was, I had stopped to talk to a known prostitute, which is not illegal. They attempted to bust me too soon. They shoulda let her get in the car, and followed me until we stopped for action. If we had traded money or been caught in the act, I would've been able to tell you first hand what the fuck they do to a john. They let me go with a smart ass comment. That's as close as I've come and I didn't like it.

If it is just a cop grabbing you, a big ass ticket, and a few hours in a cell. If you get wrapped up in a sting involving multiple agencies, might be worse.

The only thing that was busted were my nuts when I picked up SWs.

Man, I quit looking for ass on North Ave. For ages the only action I ever saw was the not quite passable tranny that hung out fairly close to the deli. I don't know if that was 14th or not.
